Use your actual working pattern rather than simply entering 52 weeks if you take annual leave, work from home or have other weeks when you do not commute.
What is not included?
The estimate is fuel-only. Parking, tolls, maintenance, insurance, tax and depreciation can make the total cost of commuting by car much higher.

Does the commute calculator include the journey home?
Yes. The entered distance is treated as one-way and doubled for each working day.
How many working weeks should I use?
Use the number of weeks you realistically commute after annual leave, remote-working weeks and other time away from the workplace.
Can I calculate diesel commute costs?
Yes. Select diesel and the calculator will use the diesel price you enter or the latest weekly UK average when available.
Does this include parking?
No. It calculates fuel only. Add parking and other fixed costs separately when budgeting your complete commute.
